Services
All our services are focused on the Anglican tradition in a relaxed manner that reflects the small-town nature of our location and our congregation.
We particularly focus on opportunities for celebration on special moments of the Liturgical year:
Maundy Thursday
Holy Thursday, the last supper Jesus had with his disciples before his arrest and crucifixion, is acknowledged in an evening shared meal by our congregation which replicates as closely as possible the food that would most likely have been produced for it. The meal is ended with stripping the Sanctuary in preparation for our Good Friday morning service, which includes stepping through the events of that day.
Pentecost
Pentecost, the church’s birthday on the 49th day after Easter, when the Holy Spirit came to the disciples, has the church decorated with colours reflecting the Pentecost flames, and a celebratory birthday cake shared at Morning coffee.
St Peter’s Patronal Day
We celebrate our Patronal Day with a breakfast service on the Sunday in June closest to 29th June with a sumptuous three courses of appropriate breakfast goodies.
